Self Care

Living in a world where everything looks and feels almost the same, something new always takes time to be accepted. We identify success by the standards of how they make us look and feel to the people within our radius. We long for more and possibly, different.

We are more than happy to take pictures of ourselves when we are at our best, taking pictures of our meals, trips, and happy moments, but hide the parts ourselves that matter, the inner part of ourselves that we want people to accept and acknowledge.

This duality is a danger to our well-being because it can harm our divine nature. (We do not have to be likable all the time. it interferes with our right to say No. We cannot build and maintain proper boundaries if we do not act according to our true nature).

Resisting ourselves is to deny our potential and run away from our tree of life. If people we are connected to never get to the depths of our personalities to discover our being, the relationships are in danger because there is a possibility our needs, not being met, best part about this is that we can start by being there for ourselves

When we start showing up for ourselves and showing compassion to ourselves, When we begin to accept ourselves, this begins magic within us, this magic moves mountains, then fills us up from the inside out. We no longer need external validation to feel good about ourselves. Although I would like a Triple Cheeseburger right now, I do not need it to add to my self-worth or value. With or Without, I am the same.

I do not need to buy a car beyond my means for my peers to place me on a pedestal, although I would love one, not for validation. Again that is just another thought. When we live our truths according to our nature, we can integrate our lives accordingly, our relationships, the interactions, our peace of mind. Self-acceptance plays a key role when striving for a successful and fulfilling life.

The answers that will lead us into the lives we desire are within us. That is why we crave certain things and not others, how we prefer things look, what we like and why we like it. All these seemingly small decisions make the whole of our being and our personalities.

Self-acceptance can open a stream of new opportunities, a better quality of living, friends, a compatible partner, job, and environment. Our needs and wants confirm our experiences and feelings.
